Carolina Business Services was founded in 1981 by Cecil and Lee Reid as a tax preparation firm in Spindale, North Carolina. Their daughter, Sandra Shahan, worked alongside them from the beginning, preparing tax returns and building relationships with clients.

In 2005, Sandra took over ownership of the business. She's been preparing taxes for over 45 years—the entire life of Carolina Business Services. Today, a third generation of the family works with Sandra, and they're committed to continuing the tradition of personal service and expertise that clients have come to expect.

Every time I went to another tax place they all said they could not help me with my particular tax problem. When I came here they took the time to trace and track and even call to follow up more than an hour on the phone calling multiple people to find a solution. They did what no one else would. This is a great company to prepare your income taxes. During my initial meeting with them, they listened intently and provided sound tax advice for my specific tax situation. They did not enter data into a computer as we talked; instead they focused on what I was saying. My taxes were e-filed in a couple of days with copies of everything to me.
