We're Here All Year, Not Just Tax Season

Most tax preparers disappear after April 15. We don't.

Tax questions don't only come up during filing season. Maybe you received an IRS notice in July. Maybe you're planning a major purchase or life change and want to understand the tax impact. Maybe you just need to file a prior year return or amend something from last year.

We're open year-round to help with whatever you need.

Year-round services include:

  • Responding to IRS or state tax notices
  • Filing prior year returns
  • Amending previous returns
  • Estimated tax payments and planning
  • Tax impact analysis for life changes (marriage, new baby, home purchase, inheritance)
  • Filing extensions
  • Answering questions whenever they come up

You're not just a client during tax season—you're a client all year. If something comes up, we're here to help.

Need help with something outside of tax season? Call us at 828-287-9595. We're here.

  • What documents should I bring?

You can download a detailed Tax Planning Checklist PDF or view the details online.

  • Can you help if I haven't filed taxes in several years?

Yes. We regularly help clients who need to file prior year returns. We'll work with you to get caught up and handle any correspondence with the IRS or state tax agencies.

  • What if I receive a letter from the IRS or state tax department?

Don't panic. Bring us the notice and we'll review it with you, explain what it means, and help you respond appropriately. We handle IRS and state correspondence for our clients year-round.

  • Do you prepare taxes for people who don't live in North Carolina?

Yes. We serve clients nationwide through our secure online portal. We prepare federal returns and state returns for any state.

  • Can you handle unusual or complicated tax situations?

Yes. We've been preparing taxes for over 44 years, and we've handled just about every situation you can imagine.

If we don't immediately know the answer, we research the tax law and find it.

That's part of what you're paying for—expertise and attention to detail.

  • When should I expect my refund?

If you e-file with direct deposit, refunds typically arrive within 2-3 weeks, though the IRS reserves the right to delay refunds for review in some cases.

We'll explain the timeline based on how you choose to file.
